Bledsoe VINELink Coverage
Tennessee VINELink is the official state entry point for VINE and SAVIN search. The state's correction department calls the service free. You can search by name or identifier. Registration then opens notifications through several channels. Tennessee SAVIN materials list phone, email, text, a mobile app, and TTY.
One Bledsoe limit deserves attention. Statewide coverage does not mean every Bledsoe County Jail pretrial booking enters the system. The county publishes no confirmed local feed. VINE may still return a covered state or local custody record, and the exact result on screen controls. If the expected person is missing, call the VINE operator and the Bledsoe County Sheriff Office.
VINELink reports a record from a covered custody system. It cannot replace the court docket or guarantee complete Bledsoe County jail coverage.
Check a Bledsoe Custody Record
Search one person at a time. Use exact spellings and full identifiers. Common names return several results, and a data-entry slip can hide the right match, so never pick a name alone.
- Open the official Tennessee VINELink application and confirm that Tennessee is selected.
- Search by the person's full name or by an offender ID when one is known.
- Review every match and compare available lawful identifiers rather than assuming the first result is correct.
- Open the matching record and read the custody agency, facility, status, and any notification options shown.
- If no reliable match appears, call the operator at 888-868-4631 and then verify local custody with the sheriff at 423-447-2197.
No guessing at roster URLs is needed. Start on the official state application. A new Bledsoe booking can lag, a released person can drop out of the live view, and a transfer can move the record to a new agency.
What Bledsoe VINELink May Show
Fields depend on the participating system and the live record. Read the labels on the returned result, since no fixed Bledsoe layout is promised.
| Result field | Meaning and limit |
|---|---|
| Name or offender ID | Helps distinguish matches; spelling and identifiers must be checked. |
| Custody status | Reflects the covered system's reported state, which may lag a change. |
| Facility or agency | Identifies the source holding or reporting the custody record. |
| Release or transfer event | May support notification when that event is eligible. |
| Notification action | Leads to phone, email, text, TTY, or other available registration. |
| Charge information | If present, it is an charge and not a court disposition. |
VINE does not run a warrant check. It does not guarantee a full arrest history either. For the booking document or booking photo, use the sheriff records route on the county home page.
Tennessee VINE Search Screen
The official Tennessee VINE application is represented in the captured search state below.

The official Tennessee VINE search screen is shown here without exposing anyone's private search data. VINELink is a stateful application. Registration can happen after a result opens, even when the web address stays similar. Check the page still says Tennessee first. Avoid lookalike services reached through ads or guessed links.
Register for Bledsoe Custody Alerts
Alert registration starts from a qualifying result. Events and channels depend on the record. Tennessee materials say the service can use phone, email, text, a mobile app, or TTY, and more than one phone number or email can be registered.
- Select the matching record and choose the notification or “Get Notified” action.
- Choose the contact channel offered for that record, such as phone, email, text, or TTY.
- For telephone alerts, create and safely retain the four-digit PIN described in the Tennessee SAVIN brochure.
- Complete the confirmation steps and make sure the contact details are accurate.
- Update or cancel registration through the official system when the alert is no longer needed.
Email sign-up skips the telephone PIN. A PIN confirms receipt on calls. Never share it publicly. The operator line runs around the clock, per the official TDOC announcement.
Bledsoe Alert Safety Limits
Tennessee's SAVIN brochure warns against VINE as your only safety plan. Alerts can arrive late. A contact method can fail. An agency can update a record after the event. In immediate danger, call 911. A protective or legal plan should rest with the authorities and qualified counsel, not an automated message.
Federal Bureau of Prisons custody sits outside VINE. Use the official BOP locator for that. Immigration detention belongs with the ICE locator. A Bledsoe County booking question stays with the county jail, while a state felony custody question goes to TDOC FOIL.
Note: Save the VINE operator number separately, since a missed alert or unclear result may need direct help from the service.
Fresh Bledsoe Booking Delays
A fresh arrest can still be in intake while VINELink shows no match. The county makes no promise about upload timing. No public roster schedule exists for comparison either. Check the Bledsoe Daily Arrest Report process, then call the sheriff if the matter is current.
"Not found" can mean several things. The jail may not feed the record. The name may differ, the arrest may be too new, or the person may have been released or transferred. The record could even be restricted. A missing result never means a case was dismissed, since court disposition is a separate inquiry.
VINE Versus TDOC FOIL
VINE handles custody notification for covered records. TDOC FOIL covers people currently or formerly in TDOC custody or supervision. FOIL can show status, location, offense, sentence, parole or release details, and sometimes a photograph. It is not the Bledsoe County Jail roster.
| System | Best use | Not a substitute for |
|---|---|---|
| Bledsoe County Jail | Local current custody and booking-record requests | Final court disposition |
| VINELink | Covered custody search and alerts | Complete county arrest history |
| TDOC FOIL | Felony state custody or supervision | Fresh local pretrial booking |
| Court clerk | Docket, hearing, and final outcome | Real-time jail location |
Bledsoe County Correctional Complex is a TDOC state prison and diagnostic complex in Pikeville. It is separate from Bledsoe County Jail. Don't confuse the two. A Pikeville result in FOIL points to state prison custody. It does not point to a recent local arrest. The official TDOC FOIL page sits below for comparison with VINE.

A felony record from the state marks a later custody stage, not a substitute for a fresh Bledsoe County booking or arrest check.
Bledsoe Court Verification
VINELink shows custody as a participating agency reports it. For Bledsoe County court matters, call the Circuit Court Clerk. That office handles General Sessions and Circuit questions at 423-447-6488. Have a case number ready when one exists. Ask the clerk which court actually holds the file. A call like that turns a custody status into a solid answer about where a Bledsoe County arrest case stands.
Confirming a Bledsoe VINE Alert
Write down the date and time of every VINE check. A release or transfer can shift the agency shown on the record. When an alert arrives, confirm the event with the office in charge. Do this if the exact time or destination matters. Think of the alert as a prompt, not a certified court or jail document. Keep the operator number close in case the record seems unclear. For any immediate emergency, dial 911. Never wait on an automated notice about a Bledsoe County custody change.
